The sound of howling tires and aroma of burning rubber engulfed the Las Vegas Motor Speedway from morning to sunset. The day started with a giveaway for Registered Drivers which included swag from “Enos Oil” provided by FFP, Monster Energy Drink, Toyo Tires, Formula D, Fast Lap, Royal Flush Apparel, and Dorki-Dori Clothing. Drifters from multiple states Washington, Arizona, Utah and California made their way out to Vd010,  Members from Nv240sx.org, Vegasrotary, The  Socal-Drift Team, Sin CityZ, lvmazadas, and LV Scions showed their presence in sizeable numbers. Drivers from beginners to experts were burnning up the Very Technical course for 8 hrs.  Remarkable improvements were made by novice drivers through out the day,  there were at least 3 autox drivers that decided to give drifting a try!  Fox 5 news interviewed Tommy Suell which can be viewed here on the forums. Roughly 300 spectators flowed through the gates. For some, it was their first event and for others, it was off season practice. Auto R and D showed up with their 240 mustang. “Formula D” Judge / D1 Licenced Driver Ernie Fixmer, Full Race’s D1/FD driver Forrest Wang, and Newly FD licenced Driver Michael Essa practced grazing walls all day with Tommy getting ready for the seaon opener in Long Beach.   Vegasdrift has raised the bar for  grassroots drifting events with professional instruction, ample runtime, on-site tire changing and premium track layout materials.
