The film is essentially a recap of not only some of the greatest moments from last season, but a recap of how I saw the event, through my own eyes….or in this case, my camera. I have been given the opportunity to premier the film at the Buffalo Wild Wings after-party, immediately following the Vegas Drift VD016 event tomorrow (Saturday the 16th). This is the longest Formula Drift film to date, coming in just shy of eleven minutes, with 108 shots from start to finish. I hope to see you all tomorrow, and again as always, thank you everyone who has supported me throughout 2009!

Taka Aono, The Flying “86″. The Hatchi that could. Whatever he goes under, this man is a LEGEND in Formula D. Starting this year with no title sponsor, and making it to every single event on his own dime, like many drivers in Formula D did this year, Taka stuck it out and drove his face off.

This concludes the official 2009 Formula Drift season. The ProAm Nationals event drew Formula Drift License hopefuls all the way as far as the east coast. This was a invite only event. 19 driver’s got there license Saturday Nov. 20th. The 2010 season will be a good one with these drivers joining the professional ranks.
