VegasProam Round 4

* Top 8 or 16 tandem elimination competition to earn points

All Vehicles must pass a Technical/Safety inspection – The Inspection  Sheet can be downloaded HERE

It’s the Drivers Responsibility to make sure their vehicle and safety equipment is track ready. Please use the Formula Drift ProAm Tech Rulebook for what the tech inspectors we will be looking for during our inspection. Common tech problems that cause vehicles to fail, are cracked windshields, improperly tied down batteries, belted tires, or any type of fluid leaks. Vehicles that fail the tech inspection won’t be allowed to run until the repairs have been verified by the Chief Steward. In the event that a vehicle does not continue to meet LVMS/Vegasdrift Safety/Technical standards through out the day, the Chief Steward will be forced to pit the vehicle.

Rule Book Exceptions/FAQ

Important —> This event requires a roll cage that will pass tech!!

* Bolt-in cages will pass VegasProAm Tech, however if you earn your license or are awarded an invitation to ProAm Nationals your car has to meet all of the tech requirements in the Formula Drift ProAm rulebook.

* Only 1 “racing/bucket” seats is required for Tandem and progression to the “Top 8/16″

* The driver seat requires a certified harness

* We only require one 2lbs extinguisher mounted securely with a quick release, within an arms distance, while the driver is seated. Once again if you move on to Nationals your car must be fully compliant with the Formula Drift ProAm Rulebook.

* Battery do not need to be relocated to the Trunk, or inside the car for VegasProAm, but a battery cut off switch that will shut the car down is required.

NO ride alongs will be allowed.

There will there be on-site tire changing.

All Minors must fill out the Minor Waiver form and have their Parents/Legal Guardians on-site for the duration of the event.
