Tyrant, new to Vegas, here's my baby
« on: May 22, 2012, 08:23:48 PM »
it's a 1986 Mitsubishi Starion...I've had the car for about three years...I blew the engine about a year ago so  I completely rebuilt it

While I had the engine out I painted the engine bay...

Got rid of my cat and shortened my exhaust by about three feet by running my exhaust out my 1/4 panel, spools at 2700 rpms

I have some other stuff I've done that I'll post later.  The car is a little bit of a mess at the moment because I work on other people's cars more than my own, I'm a painter/fabricator.  I'll have it all together in a month or two.

Are you going to be drifting this car at events?

I do more time attack but I do plan on burning off the tires at a couple events here and there.  It's really early in my build-up

I think side exhaust is the sickest thing

I want that on in and around my 240 it would set the car apart from all the other s chassis

I do fab work, I'd love to see what it looks like on an S body.... How is the rear suspension connected to the unibody, what does it look like under the back seat and how does the area from the seat to the 1/4 panel look?

Exhaust is on driver side theres plenty of room only thing is the automatic seat belt motor getting in the way
Other than that the suspension if fairly basic coilover

you seriously spent all that time to make an exhaust go threw the cab of your car? Don't reply, I already know the answer.

do you??? I'm a professional fabricator, it took all of three hours....and when it hits 22 lbs of boost at 3200 rpms and will break the 255 rear tires free at any point from 3200-6000 rpms, yeah it was worth it...try switching to Gatorade, Haterade leaves you thirsty...
