Alrighty it's 2 am in the morning and I promised you the rest of the pics. I ran into a lil snag with my turbo that's why. FML. I had to get the center section reclocked just a lil bit so that my water line can clear where you mount to the manifold. Tried and tried but after much cursing and couple of beers and ahem..... sobering up to drive. I went down the road to SPINTEK and talked to J.T. who hooked it up and set it right for me. Thanks goes out to J.T. and everyone at SPINTEK for the help. Now the pics may not look quite in order due to I was expecting everything to go smoothly. But bear with me. Enjoy!
Well finally time to tackle the exhaust manifold and turbo.

I love packages with goodies in them, don't you?

Along with the install I decided to swap out the old hardware for peace of mind and hopefully no exhaust leaks. OEM washers and nuts.

Old and worn and actually one set missing! LOL

I decided to go with TOMEI's EXPREME EXHAUST MANIFOLD since I'd like something to compensate for the GREDDY INTAKE MANI I'll install later. Also smoother flow.

Surface is prepped

7 layer gasket goes on

Then temporarily install mani

To keep everything together and any future removals best to use some anti-seize, luckily TOMEI includes there own with the mani! YAY TOMEI!

Horrible pic I know, but it's there I swear!

Man who took these pics? It's like they were a lil drunk or something! lol Bottom of mani. need to install the studs.

Don't forget to use to nuts to install

Alrighty the mani is done now! Now just gotta get to that darn turbo! Here's my S15 T28 w/HKS adjustable actuator.

New lines. They come with all new crush washers. Just remember to use them on the NPT side and not the AN side, since AN's create a perfect sea inside. Trust me we use 'em all over in fighter jets. No leaky, leak. Unless your jet is older than you, like me, then get new ones!

I also used some teflon tape. Again piece of mind and good practice. Just remember that to put it on so when you install it, it doesn't try to come un-done. Dunno if that's a good way to put it. But, I gues you could say installing the fitting is clockwise (righty tighty) then put the tape counter-clockwise.
Fittings installed

Gotta remember the gaskets! No exhaust leaks here I hope!

Installed. I forgot to take pics of the installation of the nuts and the lock plates. I used some locktite on the studs prior to installing the nuts. Also remember to bend the tabs to the nuts!

Water line routes to the back

Remove hose section and install on nipple

Oil feed line connects here

Missing banjo bolt for now! On order from JEG's
Water return line

Done!

Time to install the elbow. I decided to continue to go with TOMEI and use their EXPREM TURBO ELBOW.

As usual double nut method for stud install and more anti-seize!

GTG son!

Now here's a question for everyone. The elbow comes with 3 bolts that go in the indicated postions located in the pic.

Should I re-install the old hardware for the other 2 mounts? To be continued since unfortunately I had no new gasket for the elbow! Boo! On order though!
On to the oxygen sensor! I replaced the old with the new since it was pretty much toast and unusable. Not like I would've replaced it anyway! lol

The elbow comes with the adapter for the skinnny O2 sensor but why change? Plus I already had the fatty before I realized the elbow came with the adapter.
Now to finish up the install was the oil drain line. My old one looks like it's seen better days!

Now here we go again with gaskets. You may remember this same gasket for the oil pickup strainer. Yes they are both used for the pick up and drain. Who knew?

Return hose

Return line

and finally new clamps. I thank FRSport for having the package deal together and a great price.

Remember that I have a T28 and not a T25 so the hose may be a lil smaller in length. The hose is made for the T28's found on S14's and S15's. It might work on the T25, I don't know.
Gasket on like so

Slip hose over nipple and then bolt up and tighten clamps.

All done!

Well I hope you guys enjoyed all this! Lemme know what you think so far. Man this one long post and took 4 beers to finish it! Later
