went back to 18/18. ;p i missed it. going to have to skin my tubs real fast prior to the event and raise it a little in the front, but it's all good. bringing reverse rake back. i miss the way it felt. will send you pics once they come in!

i'll shoot you a text tomorrow! i been meaning too. pandora + the feeling of being behind schedule has me bailing on all my friends though to get it finished :/ lol

what did you do with your front window? did it come out in 1 piece?  i found a dude for $120 for new glass. might do that. could use the cash savings though for new front tires, and dyno expense...

unless you're planning on adding ballasts you might wanna try it out first with stock glass. i'm really up in the air about that now after talking with jtp about setup.

we did kill off like 100 or so lbs back there already.... my car does feel real weird now. took me like 2 events to get the hang of the feeling of it.

however i am extremely reluctant cuz you gon't have a booth. outside painting is hella sketch. bugs dust leaves, wind, humidity, sprinklers, pets, etc

drop me a text i'll take care of you bro. a lot goes into prepping the area. i jack up cars and put em on jackstands so there isn't any debris that gets into the paint. usually wet down the area, and move the car on after.

pretty much - if there is any thing questionable, and i wouldn't be happy driving the car/showing it as if it were my own car, it's not leaving until the problems are addressed.

you guys can check out my RX7 (before i battle it out again) and see the quality in person, even from being outside. it's not like other shops that turn out cars with debris in the paint. however, with that being said i have access to a booth. it's an additional $150 + $100 transport generally..
i will hook you up though because of the help. you've always been there for me.

if you don't have a gt wing atleast at roof height, you're missing out....

I personally hate big wings, but unfortunately if its not at roof height or above, its really not doing much for down force. Nice functioning wing :)

<3 i used to dislike them a bit too. i hope it helps a little bit with the light rear end feeling. everyone said it seems to gain rear traction. i always wanted to see my car with a decent sized gt wing

how's your car coming Yao??

That's actually incorrect. The low pressure area when the car begins to slope down at the rear window sucks air to the chassis. A wing only has to be 4-6inchs above the deck to start creating something be it lift, down force or drag. What/how much is determined the leading edge of the rear window of said car, slope of the rear section and by the angle, shape, and size of the wing.

how did you like it? was it good multiple times? everyone has been giving me mixed info on it. some say it's good, some say it's garbage. i like it so far. for the price i can't complain. this thing worked like a breeze today. consumes alot of product though even fully closed almost it seems like.

i've lucked out with the standard gravity feed HF guns, but their HVLP guns suck. same thing pretty much but i think one of them come with a different sized needle though.
I have no frame of reference as this and a snap-on gun are the only ones ive ever used.
ive just kept it clean and its been good to me for multiple projects. ive even repainted some stuff on my daily with it.

^ I was going to grab one of the Kobalt guns at Lowes but figured it would probably be weird then just got a good price on this when i went to buy paint so i swooped it. used them both a few times, they work pretty good. i know it's not an Iwata, but it's good for now.

finished both fenders for the most part today. set the front ride height. this things are amazing. cant wait to prime them and see them.

Glass guy came out and got the old window out in 5mins with some Sawzall and a stoney metal spatula device attached to it. at first i thought he was going to cut the window out then saw the specialty tool. whew....

they front fenders are essentially 105mm wide now. i have a bolt-on 50mm spacer with the 17x9.5 +12 TE37s which = -38 effective offset.

Got a cool Birthday present from Julian @ Low Brain Drifters in the UK. Going to sticker bomb the new paint with these!

Real bad looking but they're on the way to baller town just removed the tape, and now to mess with the top side.

New clutch master

primed everything else and realized aaron's door was way worse than andrews... kinda stuck on what im doing with it. might cut apart the other door and redo... sucks.

Have to body work 3 spots real fast tomorrow and then prime, and spray the chassis, and the rest of the pieces that are ready.

Gotta give it up to VarrsToen Wheels for all their support this season. Really down to where every minute counts, and they rushed everything for me. Really excited to see my RX7 on the ground with the new Hyper Black Varrstoen ES 2.2.1's! Thank you Navith, and Varrstoen! It's going to be a good season!

Check out their Facebook Page @:
