Decided to go with taffeta white..Big fan of the white when i had it on a previous car....Honing the block tomorrow, then starting the sanding and prep work for the paint.. Will prolly have the motor build going at the same time lol....Pics to come

Friend of mine is painting it, he just told me to get an air compressor, and the supplies.

Had the block honed, leaving right now to go get new pistons pressed on and flywheel re-surfaced.
Then to get a sander and start sanding the spray can bullshit off the car.  Getting everything wrapped up for the build next week. Not looking forward to painting and prep for the car

I dropped the diff and drained the fluid and noticed little pieces of metal (very small), so i took the front cover off, and tried to inspect the diff as much as i could..I then went online to Kaaz and googled a few other places and couldnt find a solid answer....I didnt take the diff out yet, but wanted to maybe see if anyone else has had the same problem.....

When the car goes around a corner without throttle it makes this horrible clank noise, with throttle it doesnt make any noise..The first time i took the axle off (driver side) it was pretty messed up. Replaced it and the problem seemed to go away. Then it came back again. This only happens during turns, u -turns etc. I have the proper fluid in, and have inspected as much as i can, and noticed the teeth on the diff come VERY close to the bottom of the housing.

Both axles look fine, but im not sure if it's internal damage? Should i take the diff out and inspect further? Has anyone else encountered this problem with a Kaaz 2 way?? Thanks in advance

No 2 way action here lol..A lot of this car is a first for me.........Idk if it sounds normal, i mean it sounds like my ass of the car is about to fall right off at any second..............
Also when the car is sitting there, there seems to be a lot of strain being put on the axles, theres a lot of sagging under the rear of the car (if that makes any sense).But why did it stop when i replaced one of the axled for a short time?? Does the 2 way need to be taken apart to see if theres any damage to any of the gears inside??

Or am i missing something altogether? sry for the noob question

Are you sure it's the diff? I can't explain the sagging, but could the clunking be from shitty subframe bushings?

I dont think that's a newb question. I also dont think it should sound that way. You said strain on the axels what exactly do you mean? Is it a popping sound ( i dont mean the tires) or does it rattle or just feel plan loose in the ass end?

See thats a possibility. Did the car do it before? Because if it felt the same before stuff can be just plain wore out like he said. But if it just started I doubt it to be as such because the wearing is a slower process.

Even with my welded, same the ass end was all kinds of weird sounding i mean its welded so duh but thats not the noise im talking about it sounded loose if that makes sense so I replaced the bushing's and it all went away. (except for wheel hop lol)

When i got the car it made a popping clunking noise..U turns is the worse, and u can physically feel it in the car,not much but enough, and the noise is very noticable..The bushings are all aftermarket (teal color). The whole car has aftermarket mounts and bushings so its very very rigid.

The sag is from the car being lowered (i would assume), it seems that it would need driveshaft spacers. I know on the s2000's even lowering it a little puts strain on the axles..What im trying to say is the axles,and diff are not all in a straight line, it seems to put strain on the axles sitting lower then the diff (does that make any sense? lol)..

The ass does not feel loose at all, very solid, just that fu*** noise lol..

I understand what your saying. Well with a Kaaz 2 way it does make a noticeable sound when you round a corner without gas when you do go around a corner with gas it won't make a sound that is perfectly normal. So if thats whats bugging you then thats what it is. It engages and dissengages and if you floor it around the corner you go sideways cause its now fully engaged. But if all your stuff is new then its obviously not a rearend subframe bushing problem. And u-turns are very noticeable with that diff for sure

Well i hope thats the case, this 2 way wasnt broken in properly im sure lol, but its just so noticable i didnt think it was normal..Thank u guys for all the help with this, now onto putting this tank back on the car  .....

When its all back and running ill let u guys hear it at the next event.....
