Right in front of your house...that's the worse when its right under your nose like that. Was gonna say that I also will be another pair of eyes but it seems your dad's car has been found?

So Basically the car was stolen from Southern Highlands between 12am-5am and taken down Southern Highlands Parkway to St Rose parkway. At St Rose and Las Vegas BLVD the car started to run out of gas. They then pulled into the nearby houses and parked the car. Thats where the police found the car. Whomever stole the car left a few things in the car. like a sweater which metro is using for DNA and a few other things. The steering column wasn't broken or hot wired. Which is really weird. No one else has keys to the car but me and my Dad.

I really don't know what to make of the non broken steering column. Can some make keys for cars off of VINs? If this happened to me with my broekn ass beat to shit car what else does that say to people with nice cars.

I will take pics of how bad the car really does look some you guys know why i am saying that tomorrow.

Weird on the steering column. Maybe they use a filed down key or similar.

thats really great to hear that the car was found and that nothing was torn off of it! and maybe the ignition is worn down and could use another key? i know my friend started my car with the trunk key once before.. so maybe its a similar case?

Nissan only used X amount of permutations on the locks.  Plus with age key cylinders get ground down making similar keys work as well.

Glad you got it back.

A key that is filed down is a jingle key.

Nissan only used X amount of permutations on the locks.

Sounds like the beginning of a Finite mathematics problem. haha!

Yeah they may have had some old keys and just been driving around trying them on cars till they hit yours... If you gave me a blank key and a file I could start your car in a few minutes... Not that I would bother it just takes a slight tap in the right spot to open up the ignition cylinder!  ;)

Glad you got it back in one piece.

Well new shit just happened.

Basically I am up late because its thanksgiving and I don't have to work tomorrow. So its what 2 am and I hear an exhuast so i just out of bed and look out of the front door. Then at the end of the street i see a SILVER RSX with a loud exhuastjust sitting at the end of my street. Then he pulls away very slowly.
Now if you have been to my house you know there is no reason to drive past my house on the way out of the houses.

These assholes are still scoping out the car. They must think shit that car has coils and they have the key for the car so why not right?

Fucking crazy guys watch out for your cars tonight.
