OK guys i need some info and i hope someone can give me some... i bought a motor from some shop and I'm trying to put it in my car but i noticed that part of the crank has a couple chips in it like someone chiseled into it and i want to know if its still OK to use. i cant post any pics but if u give me ur number i can text them to u so u can let me know. any help is appreciated.

Sounds like you need to take it to the machine shop.
Due to harmonics being an engines worst enemy they can look at it and say if its bad or good.

get another crank man...would cost a small fortune to have it repolished and oversize bearings..i wouldent use it ither way #1 it would eat bearings like my girl eats bon bon's #2. cost effectiveness ...good luck
