how did the new ecu work out?

its worked out well. I just bought oem oil drain tube to fix the issue with the turbo. the shaft play is nil but I still need to see how its going to do under full boost operating conditions. I also found that one of my PS rack return lines has a slight kink to it so I'll see how that will effect the car. The oil drain was delivered today so I'll put it on tomorrow and see what happens.

will you be doing test runs thursday or friday?

I'm going to try and get a few runs in on Friday. I won't be tuning the suspension b/c that's still set up for Saturday morning during practice. Mainly on Friday I want to hot lap the car a few times to make sure it will handle the abuse/ check for leaks. I'll be out there when they open just encase something does break. That way I have time to order the part or go to get the part locally.

nice build dude!

Thanks dude. Much appreciated!  Wink

I'm curious to see how the PS line will hold up with that kink in it. I had one of my lines fail because of the same thing. Regardless though have fun and I'm loving the build!!!

I honestly didn't think you were gonna be a little baby about it.
DAMN bro. dig out with this. you always add fuel to the fire. fuck this forum sucks because of the 4 people always giving everyone shit. you used to be funny but you're seriously beating a dead horse. you have said the same shit for the past 4yrs...

give it up bro. you don't even drive anymore...
but thats not at all what you're doing right now huh?
Chris is cool, you arent allowed to give him shit.
ever.

but i do agree with something you said:
your mindset/thought process is much different and younger than some of us from that older generation of drifting but more similar to those from that younger group.
maybe that's where some of the difference in interpretation of postings comes from.
not saying that either of us are better than someone else, just a noticing of that difference.

Eh I don't need to be involved in any of this. Let Robert continue on with his build thread. I know I'll probably never drive again and my opinion is irrelevant.

I just remember a time when people could take jokes and drifting was all about having fun. That died years ago...

its been a long time since I've updated this. I've kept on getting my a$$ handed to me by bad luck and never felt like sharing. However today the car breathed again and is 90% ready for battle. update soon

what kind of bad luck are you getting?
I wouldn't think a SR would be this difficult.
