I picked up an S13 a few days ago to turn into a street car/backup track car to have some fun in and not wear out my FC. Here's some photos of it and updates along the way to keep track of things.

first day:

later that night i wet sanded a few problem spots on the roof, and buffed the paint back out, and threw on my RPF1s from my race car.

then as fate would have it my wheel randomly just blows off...

had to replace the tension rods, and the drivers side tension rod bracket thing from the wheel mishap... while i was at it i bought RUCAs, Kei Office rear coilovers, Pulleys and a power enterprise belt kit. along with that i did all new fuel hose, filter, oil change, bled the clutch, and brakes.

in the very near future im going to send out the injectors to RC to have them cleaned/flow tested to ensure the motor stays on point. have to order a bunch of couplers for the IC setup. also stuck waiting on my new head lights/corners to come in so i can finalize the mounting points and fender alignment.

i'm trying to source DMAX TypeIII aero, roof wing, and a hood, but we all know how hard that stuff is to get so it looks like im stuck with this aero for a bit.

more to come as i get more things in. just going to do spindles/tie rods/spacers/endlinks, interior and grind all the lips down in the front tubs and have a cool weekend drift car/street car.

thanks dude. we'll see what happens.

for some reason it keeps running on 3 cylinders. hopped a rocker last night. going to throw it all back together tonight and do the pulleys if i have time.

also did the front alignment, and threw on new tension rods, and set the ride height all around.

then tossed in new interior minus the dash. (still looking for one)

mounted the battery better in the trunk, and ran new ground wire and bought a new battery to ditch the acid one that was in it.

before the ride height/alignment

After

nothing really spectacular going on.... i need to put in some work though once i get free time on this and the FC.

yea the RX7 is definitely staying my track car. this is just the whenever street car. i've been dailying it, but i also have my ranger for parts running/daily duties if i feel like saving gas $$$ i cruise that.

i'm looking to pick up a Diesel Truck, FD RX7, or another 3000GT VR4 real soon so we'll see what happens in the near future with this car.

one of the coil packs wasnt fully clipped in. there was a broken bolt where it bolts to the valve cover, but the same coil wasnt fully plugged in.

im going to pull the injectors and send them to RC just to make sure it's all good on monday. it did it once again tonight but this time the coils werent unclipped. it honestly sounds like a hopped rocker arm but everything is good, and it goes away.... im hoping nothing is wrong with the head but either way easy fix - it would just suck.
