Hello there. id like to share with you all what we have been building up for the last 4 months. the car is going to be street driven still so some amenity's will be left.

car:89 auto hatch.

stainless steel power steering hoses with all AN fittings

tein coilovers thanks to DEATHWISH

we will be making a cage for it as well but not till it cools down in fall.

being used to sr20's and how they swap straight in no issues, i have done ALOT of learning about RB25 motors and how to finesse everything to get it to fit. there has been times i wish i never did the swap and that i went with just an sr20. but after ridding in joeys bone stock RB20 and taking some runs in it at U drift im glad i went RB. some of the other major problems i had was parts availability since this is not yet as common as a swap as an SR most parts are made when you order them. for example my PSM down pipe took for ever cause they had to make it but when i ordered it there were in the middle of building ryan kados car so my down pipe got put on the back burner. and my wiring specialties harness was OUT OF STOCK cause they had none made so that took two months to get to me as well. RAWBROKERAGE.com has been a great help on sourcing me out the small little parts that didn't come with my swap. and provided great customer service and shipping i would recommend them over anyone else for RB parts

if anyone else is thinking about doing this swap feel free to ask me any questions, i can do my best to answer anything i can.

big thanks to my friend ever ( DEATHWISH on here ) for helping get the car to where it is today. he pretty much has every extra 240 part you could think of. stock and after market. letting me leave the car at his house for months while i slowly piece it together. helping to keep me motivated to finish it, countless junkyard missions with me in 100+ degree weather. and so much more

Thanks signals13 but as of this morning drifterjoey hooked me up with one. But I still need the whole fuel pump assembly and float if you have that I'll take it.

thanks everyone. i was able to source out the fuel pump assembly. check out all the new work i got done to it this week. it should be ready to start. this weekend.

put in the fuel pump, assembly, tank.
mocked the intercooler all up just waiting on t bolt clamps.
put the radiator in and hoses
put the fuel pressure regulator on.
relocated the battery to the rear.
installed new brake master cylinder, and bled all the brakes.
did the auto to manual swap, new clutch master cylinder, and agency power line, and installed clutch pedal.
installed the wiring specialties harness.
and connected a few lose lines.

well its been a long week. i tried to get the car started but had no luck. it cranks but no start. my fuel pump turns on and there is fuel pressure showing on my fuel pressure gauge, and there is fuel in the rail. but no fuel in the cylinders and i am getting no spark. i check my CAS pulled it off and spun it manually with the key in the on position and you can hear the injectors clicking, so i took my friends cas off his rb20 that he drove over to my house and still nothing then i put my  cas on his car and his car started fine. so i checked and i am not getting power to the coil packs. i checked every fuse, relay, electrical connection and still no power. im using a wiring specialties harness that was brand new. oh yea and it is a S2 rb25 so there is no ignitor chip. so after contacting wiring specialties and talking with sean at raw brokerage the consensus is a bad ecu. so since i dont know anyone with a stock rb25 s2 ecu im just going to have to buy one. major bummer and i hope all that it is, is the ecu. but im open for any other help, options, hands on help, personal experiences, or shots in the dark LOL. please PM me and let me know. im desperate i want the thing to start. im hoping it is somthing very small and stupid that i just overlooked.

but on a lighter note. i got my fans in and fabbed them up so they are looking almost stock. Dual FAL 2500cfm s blade pushers.

well I dont think the lines are backwards but thats a thought i guess lol.
It could be that the ecu is bad but there should be a red light that lights up when the ecu is working and has power so turn the key and find that red led on the ecu somewhere.  and if it doenst have it then check to make sureall the grounds to the ecu and the coil pack is on right or no spark and also check all the sensors that motor is very sensor unfriendly lol.  Hope that helps some what
ps its always something simple mae sure before u spend the money for a ecu that might not fix the actual problem.
good luck man
