Cars and shops of Japan...

These are some of the pictures of cars and shops that i went to while I was in Japan.
First off I went to Ebisu Circuit in Nihonmatsu, Fukushima, Japan for Drift Matsuri.
I was not able to participate because PowerVehicles do not rent out cars anymore, they say you pretty much have to buy a car from them and then drift it.
Since that was way out of my budget for right now, I just spectated and watched others drift.
It was pretty dead on Sunday, don't get it twisted there was a lot of drifting going on but not as much as it seems from pictures and from my expectations.
I didn't see Daigo or any other D1 guys, but I did see Donnie from Donnie's Adventure thread on Drifting.com.
So from Ebisu circuit we left and stabled on K-Style by accident. This where all Team Orange cars come from, as you can see there is the Impreza, Lan Evo, and hiding on the lift in the second bay is Kumakubo's 1000hp Laurel.  Also I think, but not sure, underneath the car cover is the twinturbo 350z that Jun Auto Mechanic built.
The next place in my car adventure was Nikko Circuit as you can see in the videos I posted up.
I was simply in heaven there.
After Nikko I had to visit another shop before I left Japan to come back to the states.
I decided it would be Tec-Arts since I am a Hachiroku lover and it was one of the closes out of the shops I could come up with.
When I got to Tec-Arts I just about jeezed in my pants.
Sitting up front was a Black Limited 86 with $40,000 put into it.  As Kamata-san told me later.
He was telling me what was going on in the shop and then he told the bombshell of my whole trip there in Japan...
Sitting on the lift above an old run down mercedes benz was Keiichi Tsuchiya's AE86, just chilling.
Kamata-san told that he hasn't driven it for about 5 years and that they are doing just an engine overhaul on it.
So all the other pictures are just random sitings I seen when I was there.
For next years Drift Matsuri, since I'm not going to straight buy a car there I might see if I can ship my car over there and leave it there.

Damn... makes me want to Visit so bad. Maybe I need to brush up on my Japanese and go see Japan on my next Vacation. About how much were they selling cars for there at Power Vehicles? Do they have like Stock Cars or is it all whats on the website?

Thanks man.  Trying to let people know what VegasDrift is about and who Team Verzus is.
I have a lot of other pictures from my travels around Japan, I didn't just go car hoping that would be some what shallow.  But since this is a drift website I decided to only show the car and shop pictures.

when is fall drift matsuri? are you planning on going back for it?
do you know who to contact to go over and rent a car, or do you have to buy one/sell it before you leave?

i know powervehicles does that, and gives the option to buy back when youre done but for a reduced rate.

anyone want to go over?

what is the average cost $2k-$4k?

Well I know you cant rent cars through powervehicles. You have to purchase them.
S13's start at around $2500 and s14's start at around $3500 and s15's start around $8000 for non-turbo.
I'm not really sure about other cars.

We need to start planning a trip to JP now. I want to see RWB, Nikko, Ebisu, and head north to snowboard and huge mountain that's not to far from misawa. T&E would be kool too.

Wow!!!  That is some trip! 
Really for something that, it would take at least two weeks to do all of that and thousands of dollars.
Nowadays, the yen rate isn't so good and Japan has lots of toll roads.  To get from Misawa to Tokyo is a little over $200 and that goes for the Shinkasen (bullet train) also, one way.
It would be so much fun and super awesome, but for something like that just take one step at a time.
These tracks aren't the easiest to find either, the smaller tracks aren't on the Navigation.

Next year I'm trying to either visit, Honjo or Meihan and also go to Koguchi's shop.
Which I still smack my self for, because I just found out that his shop is really close to Nikko Circuit.
Next time.
If you wanna roll I'm going to try and visit those places I mentioned above.

I forgot to mention. RE Amemiya also since I'm big FD fan.  In truth I wouldn't care the price of the trip if I complete everything that I would like to do. Realistically it would be the first and last trip to JP I do unless I land a corporate job that allows me travel so I might as well spend the money and accomplish everything a once.
