i finally decided to get all my things together and make a build thread of my ae86 corolla

history;
i bought a corolla a few years back with a blown sr5, i converted most of the car to gts with a 4age bluetop, oem lsd, suspension, ect... did some practice, a vd event, and a udrift event

so after a while i wanted/needed (whats the difference) more power and started to look for potential swaps, after careful consideration i ended up buying this


this is a 2rz-fe engine from a 2004 tacoma, and they are quite the beast when turbocharged,

here it is just test fitting


plans;
i have the engine and a supra gearbox and this is going in my other car that already has suspension, i just ordered megasquirt, and i will be getting a mustang 8.8 rear end, and after some fabricating, chassis stiffening and wiring i will be able to drive it, i will post as i go...

next thing is to remove the 4age and t50, then drop in the 2rz with w58 to make custom mounts
