nexens are are pretty garbage when looking at grip. pvc pipe would provide more traction.

i was planning on running 245 R1r's up front as i planned on them having track day duties in addition to drifting. Was gonna run 255 federals out back but they were out of stock from online tires and my car will no longer be able to run pro-am anyway, maybe i can have it ready for nellis if I'm lucky.   Sad

Yah i would suggest the Advan AD08's for fronts and feddys in the rear. I always love feddys but online tire is out of stock 90% of the time. So order now if you want to use them for round 3 lol.

No, I haven't tried those, another friend suggested them too

you tried the RS3's and didn't like them ? I already ordered them so I will have to see what the deal is

If I don't like them, I'll try another set
I havent tried the RS3s..the Hankooks i used were just regular ventus versions

all i know is i hated driving my car with sticky tires on the front with welded diff.

235/40/17 Federal RSR's fronts
255/35/18 Federal SS rears

i kept spinning out. rear would push and the front would stick. NO GOOD and I gave up. went back to Feddy SS all around.

Im gonna be driving with a real LSD next and will try AD08 on fronts

Bomac... I would have thought the rsr up front and the ss in the rear would have been the sweet setup.... and your size 235/17 & 255/18 is legit!

i did tought so too. but it didnt work out for me. coz every time i would lift the car would rotate (welded no play) and the front bites and would cost me to spin... every single time.

im used to sliding all 4 tires, even guild noticed that when i drive. it should be better when i ran 2-way lsd.
