well i'm looking at getting back into the drift scene.. used to in a 240 coupe back in ohio and now i got approved for a loan and looking at some cars..

want a convert and i've found a few miata's and 2 rx7's that i like which would be my better option..

one of the rx7's is turbo'd already and looks to be in very good shape in the price i'm looking at??

$3k's for a car loan? are you going with a payday loan/advance?
Answer this "what if"...you bought a $3k 20 year old 240sx that breaks in 3 months, how will you fix it and still have $ left to pay the loan off?

Then you can take a loan out to help you in the mean time! lol

Do what I did. Bought a s13 shell for 600 and motor for 300.  And whatever it takes to get it running then sale it for 2K

not everyone has the time, opportunity, or willingness to do this.

bottom line: if money is tight, maybe get something more practical until finances allow otherwise.

He never said anything about time being a concern. Money wise my way was the cheapest.
