figure out the diff situation first and foremost.
then invest in a good racing seat, and steering wheel. maybe look into a racing harness, and shiftknob to your liking. GFORCE racing makes a good/popular certified harness for about $150 shipped @ saferacer.net

the more comfortable you are IN the car, the more comfortable you will be trying to toss it around.
the less you have to worry about "holding on" and staying in your seat, the more you can focus on driving.

after that's sorted out and you get some seat time in, i'm sure you'll know whether you need to mod your ebrake or not.

other things to look into:
decent Clutch (depending on if you keep your original motor)
then maybe mess around with getting more power, and more steering angle to really have some fun.
i'd do any sort of angle mod before a motorswap, but it's all on your preference.

you dont need much turning angle with both wheels spinning in the rear and over 200hp  Tongue
