Hey all,

I have been debating for a long time whether I want to go with a chevy LS swap or a VK56 and have made up my mind on the LS1.. yes good choice.

The process has already started, I have accquired a complete LS1 swap and a T56 6 speed trans. We have stripped the car down to a bare minimum as we are getting ready to mount the LS1 swap. There will be no cross member or firewall modifications at all so this should be a non difficult swap.

I will be doing some bolt ons to the LS1 such as custom long tube headers, cams, and springs before the initial fire up. Will keep you guys updating, let me know what you think Grin

Thank you very much guys, its an 03, the HR has dual intakes and mine is a DE with the single intake...

heres the LS1 motor swap, just arrived today.

Look at this dash harness I took out along with stock computers..all together weighed about 75 pounds not including engine harness

Yea, we are going to Painless wire the car as well as install a switch board for push button starting.

Is anyone familiar with a Racepak display dash? I wanted to use one of those but just found out that it doesnt have a speedometer? How can a $700 gauge cluster not have a MPH built in out of all things?

look into Stack digital clusters, or AIM clusters.

both are G. Racepack is good too however, but there are more options, for a little more $$$ the features youre looking for.

Stack is super expensive, but extremely badass.

eh...I didn't like stack that much when I looked it up online...im all about function over form but that thing looks too old school for a 350z. The AIM mxl however is nice.. However I might just do an autometer 5" tach for now untill I can make a decision, anything other than that will be a bitch to wire.

Nice find, I like that a lot! I'm going to research it and find out what it takes to wire it to work with the LS1. I hope its not too bad, thanks so much for lookin out!
