GodSpeed is a pretty good alternative for the money. i've yet to hear of a set blowing.... forrest has them on his street car, ray has them on his S13 and its slammed. the only thing i have heard is that the rears dont go super low, but you can pull collars to lower the ride height.
SilkRoad shit is baller. DG5 is baller.
KW is good.
PBM is good.
Tein is garbage.
endura tech seems legit.
either way just get what fits into your budget that won't leave you super bummed if you destroy them driving/drifting.

Ya, that's pretty much what it's going to come down too. I could care less if people knock me for being cheap as long as my parts suit what I'm doing.

^ this. just about everything they make is garbage aside from the Super Drifts. not true at all, i had a great experience with a set of flex coils, would buy again for a street car. alot of their other coils are not designed for track use so people often complain the arent "stiff" enough. SilkRoad shit is baller. DG5 is baller.
KW is good.

to my knowledge, silkroad is also no longer in business. Ive had them on my s13 since 2005. thousands of miles of street use, numerous drift events, dirt drops etc... ive even jumped the car. if they are still around I'd like to know so that i could get some lower rear shock mounts for my z32 rear uprights.

Is there any companies making the Xenon lip? I like the Bings lip but idk if I want to run side skirts yet... and the bings just doesn't look right w/o skirts and rear lip IMO.

I burned all the bad gas, only took about an hour of running the car. Filled it with 4 gals of 89 and still have a miss, but not nearly as severe. Only ran the car for maybe 2 minutes before my wife dragged me inside. I think another problem is the air ram/intake tube is completely torn from the throttle body and I am assuming the MAF is relaying the wrong message. Still have yet to do a compression test but I did take a temp gun to my block and manifolds and I have no cold cylinders... So I'm assuming my problem is not a blown head gasket.
So I am looking for a new air ram/intake tube. I am hoping to find one locally though so let me know if you guys know of anyone selling theirs.

no one will knock you and if they do, they have no place to say unless they're fronting you money/parts. and Robert, i think you're right, but all of the companies i listed i was aiming towards buying used because it's cheaper. fuck spending $3k on coilovers

im actually excited for having you as a new owner! build is a plus.
get the car running, get cheap suspension that works, invest on track days. make it look nice later.
it will be better that way.
keep us posted.
Good luck on the build!! I agree with mike make it look nice later!! Spend the money on suspension, tires, seat time and maybe a bucket seat instead of making it look nice!!

Well, I'm going to paint it... that and a lip is about the only thing aesthetic I'm doing with the car. I'm painting it myself so all that will cost is the paint. But ya, all my money is going into fully building the suspension of the car.
Still looking for a intake tube if anyone has one...

Build is at a halt until I diagnose the miss... I'll post more pics tonight and tomorrow.
Putting a new fuel filter in after work today... Ordering a fuel pump strainer and testing fuel pressure. I'm almost positive my pump is no good. Takes 5-10 secs to prime... OEM from autozone is $90 so I'm just going to get a Walbro if that's the problem. I also need to put my seat in today...

pretty sure most s13's turn on the pump for at least this long.
