Hey guys, im trying get the power windows to work in my 240. i got a painless wiring harness, so there is no connecting the door harness to the main harness anymore. Both my doors have the door harness still intact. I know theres a couple wires for the power locks and power side mirrors. (which are being ignored).

If anyone has wire diagrams or know a nice writeup please post. Yes i have been googling, but it seems that 90% of the write ups say, Plug it into the main harness lol. Any help is appreciated.

I just checked the wiring diagram in the FSM posted on the board.  I don't know which year you're looking for, but here it is for the '95.  http://dizons.com/manuals/Nissan%20240SX%201995/BF.pdf

-use oem door harnesses (remove wires for power door locks).
-use oem door harness plugs.

-trace the wires and cut your power window wiring harness out of your chassis harness. you dont need the green ones for power door locks ( double check in fsm diagrams by checking plug pinout).

-when i say cut out harness i mean this:
cut the factory rats nest of wires that entangle the factory power window wiring thus preserving the wiring for the power windows.

-the power window harness is wired in the factory harness to go into one main power (white) and a main ground (black?).

-if you remove your harness correctly the power and ground whould be the only broken wires that require you to make a connection.

-connect these to your new chassis harness and have fun.
the door harnesses should plug in if you have done this correctly.

p.s.
unless you are ok with your wiring looking like shit and or being ultra long, one or more of these harnesses will need to be shortened as you will likely have ~15+ feet of wire.
