Well, I planned on doing a chaser track car but that idea pretty much fell apart so this is what I came up with instead. I ended up getting it for a really good price and with a ton of random spare parts and body pieces. Basically the whole goal for this car is to have a streetable track car, nothing rediculous with the power maybe 350whp max. It's already a seasoned drift car, some are turned off by buying an already abused and beat on car but honestly I've hacked up, wrecked and basterdized my fair share of clean/stock cars, I'd rather leave those for the guys who just want a 240, not a drift car.

as it sits right now

-gt2871/sard 550's/z32 maf blow thru/fmic/ebay bov/tuned ecu
-oil cooler/filter relocation kit
-mishimoto radiator/electric fans/yashio factory caps
-kaaz lsd/ alum driveshaft/spec clutch/flywheel
-hks catback/test pipe and the stock exhaust/cat
-zeal coils/ pbm traction and toe rods/ebay ruca and tension rods/front&rear strut tower bars
-hydro ebrake/bucket seat/auto meter gauges/nismo extended shifter/personal wheel and nrg q/r
-cst 17x9.5s/drilled slotted rotors/5-lug
-origin tails/ broken bricks
-uras copy kit/spare works9 kit that needs painted
-origin 50mm rear overs/40mm fronts
/other random stuff

What I plan on doing with it

-previous owner destroyed the wheel wells so I plan on cutting them out, and remaking them
-previous owner also did a pretty shotty wire and fuse box tuck and most of it is sitting in the passenger footwell so I'm going to take care of that
-it's about 5 different colors right now so at some point I want to paint it
-FD/D1 legal cage (if anyone is a certified welder and needs money let me know, or hook me up with a reputable shop)
-custom straight piped exhaust and some boso style tips
-the hydro brake is tied in with the main master so I'm gonna set it up to run off it's own
-start building the engine up, cams/valves ect ect
-new front fenders, not a fan of the vents
-roof wing or maybe some stupid big GT wing

wheel well damage

terrible unsafe as shit wire tuck

You can also try DDSPerformance.

You can see my car for an example cage. Cheesy

They both do great work.

I'm biased since they sponsor me, but I honestly would recommend checking out both before you commit to anything... as you should with any serious mod you are going to do to your car. Cheesy

I never thought there would be a day I would say this but there is actually someone in town I would trust to build me a cage... Even crazier make it two. Forrest throws down some serious fab work! I think everyone can agree with me when I say I'm super into the work he has been putting out as far as quality goes and being over the top. Kyle from DDS is really good when it comes to fab work as well and would definately recommend talking to him as well. Solid work for solid prices definately can't argue much there.

This is Vegas so of course you gotta be careful with the people around here. Everyone claims they can do everything and almost none of them actually know shit. A bunch of bullshitters and trust me there are a ton on this board. Try those 2 shops and if anyone else tells you they have experience building an fd legal cage in town they are flat out lying to you.

Other than that the car looks pretty solid! Get a new front bumper cause that stock shit looks terrible and keep beating the shit out of it.

lol there is no "tuck" in that wire tuck.

Your car's gonna look freakin' awesome when it's done; good luck with everything!

Haven't been able to do much work on the car since I've been working but I drove it around the other day in hopes of getting all the little bugs worked out and my front right caliper started dragging hard so I have some braking problems to deal with now. I found some r32 calipers I might pick up.

I wanted to have the car ready for track day but it's not going to happen, need to swap a few things out, throw on a new caliper and hopefully thats it, hopefully I can have it done in time but so I can drive it out.

running gross camber because worn tires haha

oh and thanks everyone! I'm gonna try and make it as legit as possible as long as it's still within reason. A $5k paintjob on a non demo drift car is just silly to me, I'm just going to scrape, hit shit and god forbid a lose a bumper and then it looks like crap. I'm a fan of the grassroots-haggard almost boso style cars, something with a little wear and character.

Definitely going to hit up forrest later this year and have him build me an epic cage Cheesy

I've been hitting the tables up and getting lucky as of lately so I ordered a bee*r rev limiter so I can shoot fireballs and piss of the cops. I also fell in love with the 6666 front bumper, I need it so Im trying to find a good japan source to hook me up, gonna be pricey but mother of god I love the way it looks. Changed the bolts on pretty much all of the suspension parts. Tucked some wires and vacuum lines in the engine bay, re-wired the gauges and tucked the wires in the steering column. I can't figure out why my HUD won't display my speed, it works but says 0mph and my speed sensor is hooked up Sad I mocked up the turbo kit and intercooler, just waiting on a gasket set.

I think to help fund a new a new set of wheels I'm going to sell the extra full turbo kit I have for the car, it's nothing special but it's just sitting in the garage collecting dust.

oh and I need to get new coilovers, the front camber is almost maxed out and it's barely running negative not a fan of zeal coilovers and I don't want to notch the struts towers.

I'm also on a mission to find some amistad sereno dish wheels for a crazy wide stance.

not trying to spew hate, but that front bumper is gonna look WAYYY out of place unless you compliment it with the full kit.

the Bee-R is dope, i wish i never would have sold mine. it annihilates turbo to manifold gaskets though, so be careful.

I plan on getting the full kit. I like the rest of the kit but the front got me, I love the angles and the ridiculous wheel poke you see from the front. to me, it looks perfect. I'd be tempted to buy a knock-off kit if one existed...since I do plan on beating the piss out of this car and I'd hate to destroy a piece of artwork haha.
