so BF Goodrich is saying they have the first street tire to pull a 1G lateral. Any idea what the tire and car combo was??

The suspension  setup of the vehicle has almost as much to do with it as the tire.

The particular test they use also makes a big differance.

BTW, most Corvettes have been rated at 1.0+G since about 1989. Many exotics have been doing it for a while.

From an engineering standpoint they need to state how they are testing.

Because it really is a load of crap without their methods.

There are a lot of things you can do to make a crappy tire hold over a g in the turns. Especially if they don't specify the camber of the turn etc...

I would say just disregard it.
