Thanks man, they did a really good job on this car, considering designtime+build time in such a short period.
**Please excuse the grammar, i went back and read what i had wrote, and realized all the bad grammar..lol

Its been a long time coming.I traded ben back in january, and have yet to drive it, I've taken it out, but between the injectors and tune, I never truly got to drive it..the car will be sold one day.I haven't really done to this what I would like.once this motor pops, or starting next year before pro-am, I'd like to build the block stronger with more boost..its nice to see people who know this car,

This is a very cool car. Glad you posted up the build. A Vert with a cage is so awsome. Who cares what motor is in it as long as it spins the wheels ya know?

Thanks for comments guys!!!..and I completely agree, as long as it goes sideways, any motor will do..I'm a honda loyalist so I was quite excited at the thought of an s13 like this..plus I'm a big fan of going off the reservation with a build ie; ls1 rx8, f20c miatas, etc

hmmm a simple google search and this was the first link... http://zilvia.net/f/chat/304274-tubs.html

Amazing how that works!!!!

Back to Ben Schwartz tho! I remember the first time I saw him drive... s14 with a dog box hittin 4th gear at sonoma I was trippin! That was some next level shit back then.

Your car runs and will have power... Doesn't matter what engine is in it! I think this is a terrible swap for a 240sx because it just isn't practical at all. Since the work is already done I say stick with this thing! No reason why this thing shouldn't be rock solid when built properly and tuned right.

My man Finch, what would i ever do without you!! I should just hire you as my personal googler.. Thank you, but the point was to see what VD members were rocking, just to get an idea.

I didnt know ben until i traded cars with him, but from some of the stories, and videos ive seen, he is an absolute nutcase with a car. I asked him where he got his nickname from "big smoke" and it didnt take but one google search Smiley to see why it was his given name lol.
I agree with you about the practicality of the swap. But i cant help but sit back and get a crooked smile on my face looking at what they did in such a short period. I have always found myself more fascniated with the abnormal then the normal. So for me, this is a perfect fit. Call it crazy or stupid, ik this isnt a honda friendly site, but I prefer an f20c in this.
Update on build: Crazy work schedule this week, so im delayed on ordering pistons. the company with the $31.14 pistons are a bunch of fucking morons, im not kidding, i have asked the same question twice in an email and they cant seem to get the answer right, or fucking spell. So im gonna bail on them and go with the more expensive ones, its like a $10 difference in price per piston. Still have to go and get paint for motor bay, and valve cover. Also need to touch the block up a bit, some of the paint came off from phantom oil in the motor. And when i say phantom, this motor has been taken apart, and drained for the last 2.5 months and still has oil pissing out of it. WTF LOL
Heres some videos i pulled from the web. Now please keep in mind there are literally few second glimpses of the s13k back when ben owned it, during 2007 formula D season. At the end of one of the videos is a good shot of the car. Enjoy guys!!! and please watch the whole video to see the car, u wont believe how long it took me to find the car in action
O YEA for those of u who know this car, ull recognize the car. Its the only vert with the SEARS FALKKEN VINYLS..First shot of car is 1:06 in in the first video.. 55-58 seconds in on the second video gives u an idea of how he drove this s13k lol

Ben was always able to drive with tons of wheel speed. Even back when he had a t28 powered car. the car wasn't making anything over 280hp and he would be lighting up the tires more then people with higher horsepower.  It all in how you drive not always the car.

ummm yea?? No offense  taken?? Huh?..it will be a while before I ever unleash the true potential of the car....I've always considered myself as one to push the envelope when it comes to driving...I have very high expectations for myself in this car, so I plan on learning as much as possible

none was supposed to be given. sorry the way i wrote it was harsh. it was supposed to be generalization of most drivers but i wrote it pointing the finger at you. Most driver's are always wanting more angle, power, etc. etc., when they aren't driving the car they have already at 100%... that goes to say i couldn't drive this car 70% or better. I'll delete the statement if it makes u feel better...

I don't know what happened but I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say STOP BEING SUCH A GOD DAMN BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DELETE lol... Give me a break...

Why do you have such high expectations of yourself? What does it matter how well built the car is? I thought it was just about going out and having fun. Any type of automotive racing is an endless money pit and should be done for the love of motorsports! Just being behind the wheel should be all the pleasure the car needs to bring to you. Who gives a shit who built the car or who had it before you? That doesn't affect you in anyway. You can get as big headed as you want about your "potential" ability but I think you should come down to earth alittle and prepare yourself for the reality check your gonna get when you actually do drive this thing.

Delete your thread lol... Whats next? "You got 24 hours to all bow down and praise my shitbox or I'm deleting my account" get over yourself...
