REGISTRATION:
If you haven’t registered yet, you can still do so online at www.xtremedriftcircuit.com until 1:00PM on Thursday, May 20.  The price is $200.  If you can’t register in time online, you can still register at the event with no late penalty.  Registered drivers will also receive crew passes for this event.

FORMAT:
This event will be a 2 day event.  There will be practice sessions both days, and a top 32 qualifying on Friday and then another qualifying session for the top 32 on Saturday to determine the top 16.  The top 16 will compete in tandem eliminations.  Judging will be done by Chris Forsberg, Matt Petty, and Michael Schneider.

DRIVER ELIGIBILITY:
All drivers not ranked in the top 16 at the end of the 2009 Formula DRIFT professional series season are eligible to attend.  If you are a licensed Formula DRIFT driver, you just need to make sure you adhere to all guidelines set forth in your driver agreements with Formula DRIFT.  Any questions regarding this, please contact Andy Luk at Formula DRIFT by phone at 562-901-2600 or via email at andy@formulad.com.

                1st - $3000
                2nd - $2000
                3rd - $1000
                4th - $500

TIRE MOUNTING AND PURCHASING:
City Tire (http://www.citytireonline.com) will be in attendance at the event on both Friday and Saturday.  They will be offering tire changes at no charge to the drivers.  If you still need to purchase tires and also have them delivered to the event, you can contact John at 888-977-TIRE for more information.

thats how it worked at irwindale.  top 32 was friday afternoon.  if you made top 32, you got to drive on saturday.
