Lojack only works when you call it in. By the time you notice the car is gone it has allready been stripped. The only GPS systems that work are integrated with your alarm systems and your cell phones. Once my vehicle has been armed its GPS location is saved. Once the vehicle moves more than 2 feet from its current parking space my cell phone is dialed with an immeadiate warning telling me either my car is being towed or stolen and to hit "1" to call and forward all tracking information to the authorities. This service costs me around 35.00 per month. But its amazing, I can track my car every 15 seconds via online or by phone. It displays speed and direction on the street and final parking locations if my wife is driving my cars. Also having a good alarm system which warns you inside your house silently works wonders.
Also order a "Driveway Patrol" and place the wireless sensor inside the drivers seat as it is full proof to get around currently.
Lojack does way better actually...
early warning once its moved without the fob being there it automatically calls it in. Its definately good...
How much was the initial system for yours? like the actual box?
Early warning is like 6-800 cost I believe
