started gutting it tonight at dds. im slow, and this thing was unmolested. i'm making this virgin my biotch!    hopefully gonna bang it out within the next 24hrs. i have paint scheduled on monday. hopefully it all turns out good for the event. im still trying to get the entry fee together... it sucks. That window was a bitch man... then the drivers seat bolt... and the dash... That car was giving headache after headache last night... Can't wait to see the cage later. |

i know... thanks for your help last night!. that seat bolt sucks, and i did end up slicing through the floor last night. oh well more weld practice for me. Updates as of this morning. trying to bust, and update all my threads during takes time lol, so hang in there. the cage is starting in about 2 hrs. need to strip out the tar upfront, and vacuum it all out. then make baseplates. stripped out the AC/heater boxes.  had to pull of the heater core lines, and loop them to remove heatercore. god i really wish i had a front mount... lol  |

updates: taking out the tar with dry ice!  moving/crushing it all up to get into all the crevices.  after like ten mins, one sides just about done.  made a base plate.  seriously atleast 20lbs of sound deadening just in the front...  the rest of the shit is out of the hatch. getting ready to mock up the main hoop.  main hoop made, just need to cut the bottom to fit it. (break time to update the build threads lol)  more to come shortly. |

come over when it's done, because theres no space in the garage man. it's pretty cramped right now, and i kinda wanna just let him focus. there's not much material right this second, so i don't want to take chances at messing up or something ya know? im honestly not trying to be mean. it would be rad to have help, but the space just sucks right now... plus i need to focus and bang it out and get it ready for paint, mid cage build...  it sucks. soo much sleep depravation ahead of me right now. |

hell yea. thanks for the help tonight. cant wait till saturday. so much shit left to do though. Updates so far.  we cut all the bars. these are only tacked in so we can drop it down from the boxes/baseplates, and weld the tops. the next 2-3 hours everything but the door bars should be completely welded tonight. tomorrow is the door bars. |

Anyways, shit looks bananas, and i cant wait to see what color you will be painting the cage!! But as far as me and the wip, im SUITIN' UP!!! Just freed some space in the garage, made a huge 16 foot work bench and about to begin work for the PROAM, not making it for round 1, but i dont want to rush. Plus i still have to make a passenger door ( CFRP ). Getting readdy to do my cage so i made a very affordable 20-ton DIMPLE DIE PRESS and its super quick. $20 for steel $19.99 for bottle jack $5 for paint $113.47 for DIMPLE DIES  Like i said, I'M SUITING UP for the cage build and chassis reinforcement! |
