buckey i love you and your dedication but...
at then end of the day, pay your bills instead.
drifting is cool but come on, is it really worth it?

if the answer is yes, i truly hope you make it.

i do hate to say it but yes..... it is what i want.... ever since i was 12 lurking dowloading videos of nomuken and others i've always wanted too...

bills will always be there.... i would love to make something of myself one day and drive cars all over. its a dream... cheesy as fuck, but it is...
im working now so i should be able to skimp on a few things, and make the events. i will have a phone within the next few weeks though.

if i make it to nationals i'm going back to school online or something next year though cause i need to get a ballin job and get my shit together if i want to compete in FD.....

Good luck making your dream happen man.

hows your car dude?? you have to make next event. you're killing it.
My car's doing good... pretty much in the same form it's been in for the last 6 monthes. It's tough working on the car when it's 400 miles away lol. Man, you have no idea how bad I want to be at the event, or maybe you do lol, but I have too much going on at school and work for me to head to Vegas for the weekend.

not making it out tomorrow.... i gave up at midnight.. the water jacket seals didnt come in in-time to stack the motor...

had a killed rotor, rotor housing, and the front iron had a broken water jacket, so its garbage.

area77/EAM replaced the rotor, iron, and housing, and hooked it up with the raceport and atkins compression parts.

i hate to say it but its best that i dont drive tomorrow. not only am i keeping the car from breaking when i need it for the point series, but now i have more time to stitch the engine bay/paint it, and have a nice car for the first time in my life..... i dont know what im gonna do with myself if i see it looking sick!

ill be there tomorrow to help staff the track for you guys driving. let me sample someones car!!!?!?

lol i know....

i bought the paint for the engine bay. its all stripped, needs to be welded still....

everyone is going to jock the engine bay so hard.... the rest of the car is so shitty but the motor/engine bay is way better this time around compared to my NA. pics to come tonight.

got the car to forest's shop last night after work.

spindles, and stitch welding's going down. will post pics as soon as i get some spare time.

trying to not get too caught up in the "fully build your chassis and not drive ever" scene so when paint's done, im done. hopefully this motor prevails, bought some injectors, to throw in the secondaries for now. hopefully it lasts cause if not it's SR time.... i dont want to bail on my chassis.

dont by SR LS1 the bitch. FC chassis is a great candidate for LS1 have cost a ton less for the same hp. 400 with mild build.  I dunno I got back a forth SR-LS1 all the time.  LS1 might have a little more up front cost but the will save a ton of money on the backend.

numbers are numbers. the power bands and everything are different. drift what you feel confortable. 400hp on a LS1 is diff then 400hp on a SR. GL on everything though. want to see you out there again.

of course numbers are numbers but once built the ls1 will last event after event with no real breakage.  turbo 4 cyl are cool as hell but to make the power you pay the price upfront and with shit breaking almost every time out.  plus high fuel cost, ecu, tuning fees. after a LS1 is built with lighter internals you can have your high rev band power and still have mid range all on 91 pump gas.

To each his own. I still would like to see an SR on into my GS but I don't have the money to rebuild things every few events.

A cheap blown LS1 with 1500 in rebuild parts and another 1000 for odds and ends doesn't sound like a bad deal for 400hp on cheap pump gas.

but preferences are preferences

i dont want to get a v8 and be like everyother typical fc owner.... you lose your driving style... theyre cool, but honestly there's better shit out there... SR's are just as reliable... sure shit happens, but those motors make me sick as to how long they run and take a beating for...
i like the topend/powerband's of turbo motors... hopefully this next motor will be good for a few months, but fuck it if it doesnt it's SR time.i just want to get through the point series.
