Traverse's 2011 s13 hatch build started (JAN 2010 to present)

gonna paint the kit, hood, roof, engine bay, and roll bars. gona two tone it with the pearl yellow.

So is the Kit going to be black? also you are painting the under body of the car?

yes the kit, roof, and hood will be black and the rest stays yellow. also the underbody is geting resprayed black also. it has a metallic flake in it so hope it will not just be a plain black. gona be my rumble bee

plain black when clean/glossy is one of my favorite colors since it has a depth and classiness about it usually reserved for high end luxury cars.

it sounds like the concept is to 2-tone the car like you see on a bunch of coupes. so no underneath the car but the bottom of the car (like from that area where they put that trim/sticker thing ---> down)

ill wait to see it before passing judgment, it sounds difficult to pull off... but that doesn't mean its impossible.

Yeha I just think the kit should be the same color and the rims and roof black to pull that look off.

i really wish i could get the yellow matched without paying out the ass. i talked to a few people and they all said that yellows never look the same when u try to respray. but i got a deal on black and i goes good with yellow i just hope it looks alright. it should though im not trying to make a show queen, im gonna beat the breaks off this bitch. remember i do got the local drift whore. i probaly will rip the bumpers off the first event anyways. lol

Im pretty sure a chip of it in a spot close resembling it they could get it pretty close... I mean... arent you only going to be doing the cage that color?

hmm, for what ever reason i recall being told it was sunshower yellow from the hot hues line, maybe my memory is failing me. regardless of who made the paint i dont see why you wouldnt be able to just buy a quart of it (once you find out the paint code) for the remainder of the cage.

here are some updates with the build jost got a new box today and it had my ETS top mount manifold for my new t3/t4 turbonetics turbo which i hope will be here soon.


also was my trust oil cooler that i scored of zilvia 100 bucks


and the nicely done wangles and boxed LCA's dimppled died and just baller. thanks forrest

going out of town until sunday for the parker 425 SNORE race this weekend. when i get back i will be jumping on the paint and body to get this bitch rolling again.
