on another note. i had another friend from from japan that was into driftin that came here named Mook-E. he left like 5 months ago back to misawa. If your black then it looks like I have a replacement. If your not...disregard. LOL

Also, if you or your wife have never lived in extreme heat before be prepared, July is a very hot month.
I'm pretty sure you know how hot Las Vegas gets being from California and all.
So where in Japan are you coming from?
There is a lot of people thats from Japan, either born and raised or lived half their lives there, ie; ME.

nope im not black, so sorry Yao. you were a 2E though? i am what is formerly known as a 2E1X2 Airfield Systems Technician. they just recently changed our AFSC to 3D1X6.
Yao, how did you go about purchasing your house? did you go through VA loans?
As for the weather, my wife will just have to get used to it. I will be happy again. Up here in northern Japan it seems as if there is no summer sometimes. the weather where the base is straight up blows year round. we have to rock winter tires for about 6 months out of the years, so for those six months everyone's car are on gay status. i hate not rocking summer tires with the nice rims.
That's good to hear about the track, once i get used to drifting LHD i should be ok for the most part. I saw the track layout in the VD17 thread, but i was wondering if it's more of a high speed (like 3rd/4th gear drifts) setup than it is technical? the track here is very technical so i havent had much experience with high speed drifting. The track was built for karts but they also allow drifting. I will post up some videos i made when i get home to show you more of what its like here.

I only hit 3rd gear on one section of the hotlap course. Its mostly second gear though |

GTFO, Ozawa is definitely a good dude. he is the only person i'd let touch my car for body work. he is the one who flared my rear fenders and repaired my rear quarter panel after i made love to the wall. i'll see what i can do about the stickers man. |

hey i didnt use VA i went through FHA because the interest rates were better that way and i had money to put down. but VA is def a good way to go. 0 down is always good for the poor airman lol. and yah my afsc turned into 3d something. i only saw 1 2e1 airfield...she was our squadron secretary....lol! |
