I cut out the lateral support all the way across with a sawsall without hitting the skin of the floor. Then I hammered the indent for the catalytic converter to match the rest of the transmission tunnel as best I could.

Thanks for asking the question in my build thread so I can answer it for everybody =P

keep up the good work, im liking the cage, especially the door bars notched into the chassis.. looks legit!
im having a hard time liking the color scheme though, but thats just me... could look alot better though with polished/ silver / white rims

Once he gets some rims the car will look great. i like that blue it really stands out.

Let us know how the dyno runs turn out.

Thanks a lot for the input. Yeah... I am thinking white will definitely be in the future but for now I have to wait a little white to work it into my budget. I am just running the black polished because they are what I have.

You guys think it would look good if I got the black portion of the fn's painted white?

Yeah if the wheels don't match the cage they should be white... I'm having troubles getting into the color scheme as well but it's a completely different world once the vehicle is assembled completely.

So I think I am hearing go back to Silver/polished aluminum on the caliper and white or green wheels? Solid or polished Lip? I should put up a poll.

Anyway it is going to get run in very mismatched form this next event as I am not taking the time to paint the bumpers and side skirts till after the event.

Chopped the "battle dash" up to make it fit. For those of you who don't know the gage placement is tops, but the looks are pretty rough.

Got the side skirts and rear bumper back on, as well as reinstalled the battery redid a few wires. Kyle is working on wiring up the ignition and Buckey is lending a hand.

Hopefully, the ignition switch panel, gages, and rear lights will all get done tonight. Windshield possibly reinstalled tomorrow but it is so nice to work on without a windshield.
