Doesn't the mazworks kit run like 1300 once you pay for all the shipping and bullshit? Plus you got a drive shaft with serviceable u-joints so I'd say your pretty far ahead of the game! How did the input shaft sit? Also was the diameter the same as the ka one?
I'm gonna buy up a bunch of bellhousings and start selling conversion kits! Gonna make bank!
Thanks again for the tip Chris.
Input shaft sits perfectly... I had them make it tight. I will take a picture of it tomorrow. If you start making those kits I will give you specs to make a better shifter bracket that won't require someone to modify their transmission tunnel like I did.
And yes the service-able u-joints are bomb! Service-able parts for the win. I would have saved so much money by this time in the game if I just started paying the little extra for rebuildable parts in the beginning.
On to tonights update... First off sorry about the fuzzy pictures... I will try and take some cleaner ones in the future.
Started out the evening wanting to make my car easier to jack up... Having seen a similar thing on a car at FD I went to my local pile of metal remnants and salvaged some useful material.

Ended up going with the green to make it easy to spot under the bumper

How it sits... just low enough to spot easily if you are looking for it, not too low that it scrapes on everything.

Got the seat in... turns out it would mount to my old rails perfectly if I just flipped one around. Forgot to take a picture of the flipped rail. I will tomorrow.

Cody Volunteered to paint my rims... and I know powder coating looks soo much better but it is also soo much more expensive. Around $50 a rim when I have spent $10 on paint for all 8 rims so far and no one notices the chips when they are spinning.
