ok so heres my take on how you DONT take out a front windshield. I was pretty frustrated after like an hour of tryin to get the damn 90 degree blade in the windshield. oh well. heres the pics of the fail. but still a victory...its out HA.

the start..it gets worse

holy shit man what happened. LOL that was a disaster.

u want to use a wire, make a small hole, pass the wire through then hold it on both ends and drag it around the border of the window, holding both ends, to break all of the sealant. It is so easy. Window comes out in one piece.

yah thats what ususally happens. tried that and the actual tool for it. but the lower and upper window and small parts where it was like some kinda cement in that bitch. which i couldnt even cut off with a knife after i got the window out. so after the first crack from the windshield...it was fuck it mode.

so i finally went in there with dry ice and got the sound deadening out. was easy as hell. havent got all of it yet. ran outta dry ice at like 1 in the morning hah. so will finish it up today. but we did that and then started doing the nismo power brace and SPL tension rods. which we really cant finish till i get my LCAs and spindles on tuesday. and then i gotta find someone to bore out the shock bolts to s14 bolt size. but heres the pictures from last night.

just starting

Gray breakin up some ice.

looking much better

and again. looking good, Gray and my uncle did most the work. i spent most the time chasing my 2 yr old around the garage stopping her from trying to eat the dry ice...ya that woulda been bad. lol.

but heres the pics from the nismo brace and tension rods. soooo damn easy. took like 15 mins with air tools. damn i love impact wrenches....

first the right side..look how nasty that is.

theres the comparsion of old and new. man lookin at that. prob get someone good at wielding and make your own power brace in like 30 mins.

theres the tension rod comparison. the side that didnt get hit was actually more fucked then the side that did get hit. man those bushings were fucked.

installed!

more to come!
