Well new shit just happened.

Basically I am up late because its thanksgiving and I don't have to work tomorrow. So its what 2 am and I hear an exhuast so i just out of bed and look out of the front door. Then at the end of the street i see a SILVER RSX with a loud exhuastjust sitting at the end of my street. Then he pulls away very slowly.
Now if you have been to my house you know there is no reason to drive past my house on the way out of the houses.

These assholes are still scoping out the car. They must think shit that car has coils and they have the key for the car so why not right?

Fucking crazy guys watch out for your cars tonight.

that there sounds suspicious.  but we've had more than a few cars creep by the house before checking out our car.  most times it was just another interested car enthusiast.

but everyone should definitely watch out, it's holiday season and people need money  Sad

Alarm it and Club it.

Also, I'd check to see if you had the car serviced recently at oil-change places or wherever you dropped the car off, it could be that easy to make a copy of the keys.

It's good to hear that Metro is finally running DNA from shirts and what not found from your car.
If they have a record in town chances are they will be able to match it.

I hate the way they don't do it for every incidence because of the amount of man-power/time/money that has to be spent. But once in a while if they do this, they can hold a record for each case and be able to catch 1 or 2 of the suspects so they can't go out and do it again.

Lastly, I am so surprised at the way people would even consider stealing the car. Is it not stock? It doesn't have super big wheels right? I'm betting that they seen your yellow-car and suspect that your father's car has similar parts in it.

I say, club it and alarm it and knowing you have the know-how to do it, also add a kill-switch to the car. Anything to slow them down will hopefully deter them from even attempting to steal it.

Glad you were able to get it back though!

fuck that. same sort of situation happened once before, enthusiast or not, i still parked my car in the garage and never let it sit outside for about two months. and if it was those kids, im sure they are willing to do it again, if not already planning to do so. i mean.. if the kids are dumb enough to come by your house at night with a loud ass conspicuous car, theres a good chance they're dumb enough to try the same stunt twice. But yea, joel is giving some good advice. If not what he said then id pull all sorts of essential fuses, just some sort of assurance that the car isnt going to be moving without your say-so.
