Tommy Suell ran the entire 2009 Formula D season, with his share of struggles and trials. From having to completely rebuild his car after the AE86 was totaled in long beach, to just being able to make it to the event, Tommy pushed through it all and charged into each event faster than the event before.

We will certainly miss you in the 2010 season Tommy. Come back soon.

I spilt the footage with shots taken for the event and the pre tech meeting the week before. This video is a rather fun one. I really like the music and the pace of this video. I’m going struggle to find different ways to shoot this track in coming events to make the videos seem different but I’ll be up to the challenge.

First off, I’d like to thank everyone who stuck around to watch the premier of my newest film, “Formula Drift 2009″. It really meant a lot to me, and was a great experience! All up to the point where an angry Colts fan complained because his brain couldn’t comprehend how awesome drifting is!! With less than 30 seconds left, the video was cut off resulting in mixed emotions. Most of us were bummed, some were frustrated, and a couple of two we’re ecstatic. Too bad they didn’t realize we took over the restaurant and got the manager to play the video a SECOND time, the full way through. (continue reading…)
